Just as the name suggests this a sexy Cru Beaujolais. Julie Balagny moved to Fleurie in 2009 after making wine in Southern France for several years. She has experience in Biodynamic and traditional winemaking, despite being relatively new to the region. Mineral backbone, with nuanced and supple blue fruits, hints of cocoa nibs and better acid than a Dead concert. Bigger than one might expect for this region of Beaujolais. This Fleurie drinks wonderfully now and also has great potential for aging.
