Eisold-Smith is an Oregon-based, loving partnership of wine industry slaves, Lauren Eisold and Adam Smith. They are hopelessly devoted to producing beautiful wines that express elegance, complexity & integrity.
Lauren Eisold studied viticulture & enology in her post-graduate schooling at Weinsberg, Germany, followed by years of developing her skill in Europe, South Africa, California and finally Oregon. It was here she met Adam Smith who was, at the time, working for Shea Vineyard. Mentored by the winemaking team at Domaine Serene, Smith took his craft with him as he went on to produce wines with Craggy Range in New Zealand, Bethel Heights in Oregon, and finally making the wines for Domaine Nicolas Jay, the Oregon side project of beloved Domaine Meo-Camuzet.
Lauren and Adam have slowly been building momentum over the years, driven only by utter obsession. They have developed an intriguing program of wines, crafting classic, sensual Pinot noir & Chardonnay from the Willamette Valley's wealth of growing regions, as well as vibrant, blissful red wines from the haunted Gold Country soils Adam hails from. They have taken residency in the formerly abandoned Beacon Hill Estate winery in Gaston, Oregon alongside a small cooperative of old friends.
