It's Chad Stock's third vintage working with this white-skinned mutation of Pinot Noir. The wine was fermented with a portion of this grapes on skins for 5 months in order to build structure and character. Discovered by Henri Gouges in Burgundy in the 1930's, he decided to isolate this viticultural anomaly rather than blend it away, and we welcome the opportunity to work with this rare varietal in the Willamette Valley.
