Ribolla Gialla is a grape commonly found in north eastern Italy and Slovenia. It is also commonly made with skin contact. Benevolent Neglect's Ribolla Gialla sees 15 days of skin maceration and then aged 15 months in neutral oak.
Tart and fresh aromas of candied lemon, wet stone, essence of ginger spice & lightly salted almonds. Dry with playfully faint tannins, refreshingly sour acids. Hints of under ripe pear, lemon qualities almost like lemon head candies accompanied by a delicious limestone minerality.
