Old vine blend of Cabernet Franc and Sumoll from red, calcareous clay. 50% of the grapes macerate for two weeks in amphora. 30% go through carbonic maceration in steel and 20% macerate for 4 days on skin and then directly pressed off into amphora.
Earthy, blackberry, soft acid.
At Cosmic Vinyaters they closely follow the Biodynamic calendar and the phases of the moon. Extremely in tune with nature, they do everything by hand. Salvador Batlle is know as the amphora master. Located in Empordà, which is super close to Southern France.
