Varietal - Pinot Noir
Region - Baden, Germany
Bright ruby in color. Intense almost perpetually evolving nose of light fresh red fruits raspberries, tart red cherries, cassis, strawberries vibrant herbs, evergreen, tobacco and baking spice. The palate is dry, beaming with playful acids, silky tannins, the fresh fruit transition to more jammy or muddled berries, savory blood orange citrus, green characteristics almost like chewed cherry stems that lurk in the background while the minerality dances with baking spice. Although the body is light the flavors are dense. Decanted for around four hours and the wine kept evolving. The complexities for the weight of this wine are truly stunning.
Cult Winemakers Enderle & Moll's Pinot Noir from 45 year old vines over delivers in every aspect. An ethereal Pinot Noir showing depth, terroir and precision. It's impossible to dispute that Enderle & Moll make some of the best Pinot Noir in Germany. They age their red wines in barrels 1 to 5 years old that are purchased from legendary Burgundian estate Domaine Dujac. Farmed biodynamically and organically with minimal intervention in the cellar.
*A must try for any Pinot Noir fanatics. We recommend decanting or opening the bottle for a few hours before drinking, letting the wine stretch its legs and show its true personality.
