Rubén Parera Renau are fourth generation farmers since 1892, organic winegrowers since 1999 and biodynamic winemakers since 2013.
Currently Jordi Parera and Ruben Parera take care of different small plots of vineyard, along with other ancient cultures cherries, almonds, olives and vegetables garden. All with a small production of honey from our own bees.All cultures biodynamic agriculture, because our farm is compact.
There own vineyards are in the Upper Penedès, with calcareous-clay soil, low rainfall and Mediterranean influence over 350 meters from the sea, with old vines over 78 years and other young vines, training in traditional and modern.
There wines Xarel.lo, Sumoll and other varieties are made with minimal intervention winemaking cellar Manual harvest without corrections to the must, without the addition of sulfur at the entrance, with native yeast fermentation in cement tanks under land, jars of clay and steel tanks unfiltered microbiologically, and all biodynamic precepts.
All of there wines, both young and old rush its organic part in the cellar, thanks to the passage autumn and winter in tanks below ground with cement.
