Fun facts: Cayenne is sourced from Julie's 3.2 hectare parcel of Fleurie and not made every vintage. The vines are grown in a sector of the hill heavy in basalt.
Winemaking: The grapes are fermented semi-carbonically in concrete vats, then moved to a gorgeous, old-school manual press, where the process is intentionally slow and delicate. The juices are then racked to old Burgundian barrels for élevage.
