Michel Couvreur is a Belgium-born negotiant who imports Scotch whiskies to his facilities in Burgundy, France, where they undergo a slow aging process in sherry casks. They are then brought to bottle strength with water from Loch Katrine. While this may be unusual to say the least, the results are simply excellent.
Michel Couvreur Special Vatting Malt Whisky merges three unique single casks--aged 10, 12, and 14 years--into a single, distinctive, and utterly entrancing dram. Composed of 60% 14-year-old malt, 30% 12-year-old malt, and 10% 10-year-old malt.
