We can't get enough of the Buronfosse wines, so we figure why not get a magnum!
Buronfosse settled in La Combe de Rotalier, the same village as Ganevat. They initially left city life to start a small farm, but then were inspired to make wine as well as grow food. After acquiring a few small parcels, they started to make wine through trial and error They also had the expert, Ganevat himself, as a mentor eventually expanded their production.
L'Hopital is Savagnin from 70 year old vines, planted in marl and limestone soils. The vineyards are farmed organically and the grapes are harvested manually. The wine spends 18 months on its lees in barrels and bottled with no sulfur added.
