Varietal - Grenache, Cinsault
Region - Barossa Valley, Australia
Necessity may be the mother of invention but too much time on my hands may be the father…I do believe that there is still a lot of ground to be covered in the light, bright, young and fruitful red space. Grenache dominant (60%) with Cinsault (40%) playing a lesser role this is a sweeter fruit version with juicy dark cherries and blood plums driving the up front with hopefully the now familiar smooth transition to a more savory finish.
Colour: Deep crimson.
Aroma: Dark cherries, blood plums.
Palate: Starts sweet and juicy then finishes with some dry herbs and tea.
