Chenin Blanc from vines planted in 1972 with 8 days of skin maceration. Nuanced nose that transitions from a pleasant bretty funk into honey, jasmine, lemon zest and bitter almond. Palate continues with zest and bitter almond, with a familiar traditional Chenin personality with South African terroir fully imparted. Medium bodied with moderate acids, a waxy and weighted texture with green apple and a touch of baking spice.
