Located on the banks of the Lamoille River in Hardwick, Vermont, Caledonia Spirits was established by beekeeper and naturalist Todd Hardie. By working closely with a network of regional farmers, he is able to incorporate their grains, fruits and bee hive products into his handcrafted, small batch spirits. Created from pure grain spirits, juniper berries and raw honey, Caledonia Spirits "Barr Hill" Gin is a distinctive spirit with a refined, yet complex flavor profile. The addition of raw honey during the second distillation imparts elegant floral notes and a subtle sweetness, perfectly complementing the crisp flavor of fresh juniper. A light herbal note appears on the soft, earthy finish.
