Description
A magnum of short maceration Carignan and Mourvedre. One of our favorite darker rosés or lighter reds (whichever way you prefer to look at it). Soft tannins, candied cranberries, pomegranate. This wine is a 'clairet' style (a term that dates back to the middle ages and refers to a very light red Bordeaux wine). Drink this baby with a chill.
From two brothers, Mathieu and Xavier, who took over very old vines in Languedoc. They are the forth generation of farmers and when they took over in the mid '90s, the pair decided to make wine rather than sell to coops. They also converted to organic and biodynamic practices. These wines are always some of the best values on the market.
