Description
Cleopatra Wines — formerly Persephone Wines — are made by Rachel Signer on the Lucy Margaux Farm in Basket Range, South Australia. The wines change every year but one thing is constant: No additions, just grapes.
The 2022 Blanc is Sauvignon Blanc (Hahndorf) whose aromas blossomed with a week of skin contact, with Chardonnay from Hope Forest. Fermented and aged in ceramic egg (the Sauvignon Blanc) and a barrel (Chardonnay).
