Fun facts: Mark Angeli makes this wine in the Anjou appellation but intentionally declassifies it to Vin de France. Les Fouchardes comes from a single vineyard of the same name. The Angeli are the only ones to cultivate it and thus declare it as a monopole on the label. Residual sugar levels vary each vintage.
Winemaking: The grapes are direct pressed then fermented and aged for two years in double barriques. A small amount of natural volcanic sulfur is added at bottling.
