Description
Deep in the heart of Umbria, Rocco, Simone, and Alessandro have converted 30 hectares, 7 of which are planted to vine, to biodynamic farming. A blend of mostly Sangiovese and some older vine Barbera, the wine has a more complex character than the Liter, but maintaining fresh woodsy fruit aided by the Barbera. Unfined and unfiltered, with 20 to 30mg per liter of sulfur added three weeks before bottling.
