Producers Tasting Notes - Bennazoli - Dafne's robe is of a vibrant ruby red, moved by some purple reflections, of good transparency. The nose offers a dense bouquet of perfumes, in which the red rose, geranium, ripe red cherry, sweet wild strawberry, some grains of black pepper and a balsamic puff are perceived. On the palate it is taut and enveloping, with a pleasant freshness, a marked flavor and a soft and well-integrated tannin that delicately accompany the end of the sip.
The Bennazoli Winery is ran by 2 sisters Claudia & Giula. Empowering women in wine while making wines of their Grandfathers tradition.
Great served chilled.
The Bardolino DOC uses the same grapes as the Valpolicella DOC but because it is closer to Lake Garda and benefits from that climate, wines from Bardolino have a lighter body, structure and more freshness.
