Description
100% Valdiguié from Wirth Vineyard in Solano County CA. Inspired by the Macvin fortified wines of the Jura region of France. Grapes were foot-stomped and left on the skins for 2 days, juice was then pressed into neutral barrels and fortified with brandy distilled from Valdiguié. The barrels were never topped off and left to oxidize for 5 years.
