Daniel Ramos, the Garnacha whisperer, strikes again with this beaut. Mostly Garnacha Tinta with a small amount of Garnacha Tintorera, Garnacha Gris, Morenillo, and Villanueva from the village El Tiemblo. The site, Los Chorrancos was planted in 1936. 15% of the grapes ferment whole cluster, the rest is de-stemmed and crushed. After the (approximately) 20 day fermentation the wine rests with the skins for 3 and a half months. It then rests for one year in large oak barrels.
Bright red fruit sing, while the floral notes complement the earthy undertones. Medium bodied with lively acid, super balanced.
