Description
Chatus, Becuet, Barbera, and other autochthonous Piedmontese varieties from Pinerolo. Vines are cultivated on steep slopes at around 800 meters of elevation with sandy loam soils. Wine is aged for 12 months in third- and fourth-fill oak barriques, followed by a minimum of 24 months in the bottle. The “Ramie” territory is a tiny DOC for wines grown within a hyper-local (3 ha) zone with steep, dry-stone terraces.
