marthe henry began her career as a journalist in paris before returning to her family’s village of meursault in 2017, following in the footsteps of her grandfather pierre boillot, a known figure there from the 1940s until his death in 2004. she trained at the beaune wine school and worked at domaine rougeot before launching her own négociant label in 2017 with a handful of barrels. in 2023 she took over part of the family vineyards, including prized meursault and volnay plots. her wines are fermented naturally with a minimum of intervention, reds made with whole clusters, aged at least 18 months in old oak without racking, and bottled with little to no added sulfur.
